The VDSN is committed to providing a collaborative and supportive environment for its members to share knowledge and expertise, promote their capabilities, and work together to achieve the goals and objectives of the VDSN. All members are expected to act with integrity, respect, and professionalism in their interactions with other members and stakeholders of the VDSN. This code of conduct outlines the expectations for all VDSN members.

Respectful Conduct: Members shall treat all other members and stakeholders with respect and professionalism at all times. Members shall not engage in any form of discriminatory or harassing behaviour, including but not limited to, behaviour based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.

Confidentiality: Members shall respect the confidentiality of information shared by other members and stakeholders of the VDSN. Members shall not share any confidential information without explicit permission from the owner of that information.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Members shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to their business operations, including but not limited to, those related to data privacy, export controls, and anti-bribery and corruption.

Conflict of Interest: Members shall disclose any conflicts of interest that may arise in their interactions with other members or stakeholders of the VDSN. Members shall avoid any situations that may compromise their objectivity or impartiality in their dealings with other members or stakeholders.

Support of VDSN Goals and Objectives: Members shall actively support the goals and objectives of the VDSN and contribute to its success through their participation in VDSN activities and events.

Adherence to Membership Agreement: Members shall adhere to the terms and conditions of the VDSN membership agreement, including but not limited to, the provision of data for specific purposes, use of imagery and data, and attendance at VDSN events.

Professionalism: Members shall conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner in all their interactions with other members and stakeholders of the VDSN. Members shall not engage in any behaviour that may damage the reputation of the VDSN or its members.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution: Members shall bring any complaints or disputes related to their interactions with other members or stakeholders of the VDSN to the attention of the VDSN Steering Committee. The VDSN will make reasonable efforts to resolving such complaints or disputes in a fair and equitable manner.

By accepting the VDSN membership agreement, members agree to abide by this code of conduct and support the goals and objectives of the VDSN. Members who violate this code of conduct may be subject to termination of their membership in the VDSN.
