With the 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC2025) coming to Sydney in September 2025, this event will help Victorian organisations prepare, connect, and maximise their participation in one of the world’s most prestigious global space forums.
Event Overview: To inform the Victorian defence and space sector SMEs and academia on opportunities to maximise their participation at IAC 2025. Organised by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), IAC is the preeminent global space event. Last held in Australia in 2017, IAC 2025 is forecast to attract up to 10,000 attendees from 80 plus countries and provides unparalleled global reach into the space sector.

Event Highlights:
The event will be hosted by Anntonette Dailey Director, SIAA a respected lead within the sector.
The lead speaker will be Lisa Vitaris Director, IAC 2025. Her presentation will provide:
- A strategic overview of the event
- A detailed program outline.
- Information on attendees and confirmed delegations.
- Potential opportunities for participants at IAC 2025.
The event will also feature:
- A moderated panel discussion, with representatives from the Australian Space Agency (ASA), Austrade and industry/academia, describing the benefits of IAC and how you can maximise your participation.
- Information on opportunities for involvement in IAC 2025
- Opportunities for SMEs and academia to connect, network and plan their participation.
This is a unique opportunity for Victorian industry and academia to align efforts, gain insights, and explore collaborative pathways ahead of IAC2025.
