Industry Support with Brent Clark – AIDN National
Major General Jason Blain is the Head of Land Systems Division, Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group in the Australian Defence Force. He graduated into the Royal Australian Infantry Corps in 1991 and has served in an extensive range of command, capability, and strategic staff appointments, including two secondments to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Brent Clark, CEO of AIDN National, will speak with attendees and discuss industry support. AIDN (Australian Industry & Defence Network) amembership-based industry association for the Defence industry operating Australia wide. AIDN assists Australian SMEs through identifying and developing business opportunities in national and global supply chains.
Craig Butler,the Engagement Manager for Industry at DSI (Defence Science Institute),will briefly share current initiatives that DSI have underway and share Undergrad and Postgrad intern programs upcoming and available. DSI is a joint DST (Defence Science Technology group), Victorian University Sector and the Victorian State Government initiative seeking to improve the collaboration in innovation between industry and universities which may benefit Defence’s science and technology requirements.
Mark Dixon, CEO of Melbourne Legacy will also speak briefly on the incredible work that Melbourne Legacy do to help support more than 4,700 people, all of whom are part of a family that has been touched by a loved one’s service to our country.
