About Us
Winner of the Startup of the Year Award at the recent AusSpace24 Australian Space Awards, Lunar Outpost Oceania is a leader in space and terrestrial robotics, pioneering cutting-edge technologies in autonomous systems for complex, remote, and high-risk environments on Earth and beyond.
As technical lead and overall co-lead of the ELO₂ Consortium, awarded funding under the Australian Space Agency’s Roo-ver Program to design and build Australia’s first lunar rover, Lunar Outpost Oceania is bringing its advanced technologies in autonomous robotic system swarms - built, operated and maintained on-shore in Australia - to the defence industry.
Our work on Australia’s first lunar rover drives continuous innovation in autonomy, mobility, and systems design. What we learn from space, we apply to Earth, engineering practical, efficient solutions for environments where reliability, adaptability, and performance are critical.
Our platforms are engineered to perform under pressure. They're built to withstand vibration, dust, and thermal extremes, and designed to operate remotely with minimal human input. Each system is modular, making it adaptable across space and terrestrial applications. Our integrated real-time data collection and analysis supports responsive, data-driven decision-making in the field.
With flight heritage through Australia’s first sovereign lunar program, our technology is already being proven in some of the harshest conditions imaginable.
